Die CompactFlash? darf nur im stromlosen Zustand der CPU entfernt oder eingestecktwerden. Dazu ist auf der Basisplatine einSchalter vorgesehen (sieheSpannungsversorgung PC/104 Bus, Seite5). Zum Ein- und Ausbau derCompactFlash? muss die PC104 I/OPlatine (Option) entfernt werden.

The CompactFlash? may only be removed or inserted when the CPU is disconnected from the power supply. To this purpose a switch is provided on the base board (see Power supply PC/104 bus, page 5). For installation or removal of the CompactFlash?, the PC104 I/O board (option) has to be detached.

Bedeutung

Description

The CPU board is equipped with a resetbutton. When this button is actuated theKaba exos AMC II is completely restarted.All data and settings are retained. Restarttakes approx. 1-2 minutes. During thistime the peripherals which can be run off-line are switched to off-line operation.

lokalen Vorschriften eingehalten werden.Wichtig ist, dass der Kaba exos AMC IIimmer geerdet wird.

Der Kaba exos AMC II kann mit der OptionNetzteil 230V/24V 100VA am normalen Netzangeschlossen werden. Die Netzzuführung mussüber eine geeignete Erdung verfügen. Allezugeführten Kabel müssen zugentlastet werden. Die Umgebungstemperaturen müssenberücksichtigt werden (siehe

Umgebungsbedingungen, Seite 18).

Die max. Belastung der Spannungsver-sorgung zum Betrieb der Peripherieger?temuss berücksichtigt werden.

Local regulations must be observed with regard to the voltage supply. It is important that the Kaba exos AMC II is always earthed.

The Kaba exos AMC II may be connected to the normal mains with the option Power supply 230V/24V 100VA. The mains supply must be correctly earthed. All connected cables must be provided with strain relief.

Special attention should be paid to the ambient temperatures (see Environmental conditions,

page 18).

The maximum load of the power supply to the peripherals must be taken into account.

Power supply for peripherals

As the power supply for the peripherals is supplied by the Kaba exos AMC II the maximum load of the DC power supply must be considered (see Kaba exos AMC II, page 18). If a higher load is required, the peripherals must be supplied locally from an external power source or with a cascading unit for the Access Hub.

RS-485 Schnittstelle Bei der BPA/9 Subset Verkabelung müssen die allgemeinen Regeln der RS-485 Verdrahtungberücksichtigt werden.

Der RS-485 Bus sollte auf beiden Seitengleich abgeschlossen werden. Wenn direktam Kaba exos AMC II der 120? Widerstandgesetzt wird, muss der Bus ebenfalls mit120? abgeschlossen werden. In einemsternf?rmigen System heisst das, dass dieSumme aller Abschlusswiderst?nde auf derZutrittspunktseite 120? betr?gt, zusammenmit dem Kaba exos AMC II sind es dann60?. Bei einem seriellen Bus muss der amweitesten entfernte Zutrittspunkt einen 120?Abschlusswiderstand haben. Bei gemischter Verdrahtung muss der optimale Abschluss-widerstand ermittelt werden, damit derAnschluss zum Kaba exos AMC II eine 120?Last hat.

RS-485 interface

With BPA/9 subset cabling the general rulesfor RS-485 wiring must be taken into account.

The RS-485 bus should be terminated identi-cally on both sides. If the 120? resistor is set directly on the Kaba exos AMC II, the bus must also be terminated with 120?. In a star configuration this means that the sum of all terminating resistors on the access point side is 120?, together with the Kaba exos AMC II it is then 60?. On a serial bus the most distant access point must have a 120?terminating resistor. With combined wiring the optimum terminating resistance must be determined to ensure that the load on the connection to the Kaba exos AMC II is 120?.
