For about 2 years ,and I think my job is very interesting, because I am familiar with many pilots’ voices but have never seen their faces.
2. Are you proud of yourself as a controller? Why?

Yes, I am! I keep the passengers’ and flight crews’ safety.
3. Could you give a general introduction of the area/or airspace under your control? 你能对你指挥下的区域或空间做一个简单的介绍吗？
I`m a tower controller,and I take charge of all the leaving and arriving flights, and that includes domestic and international.

4. Have you ever controlled a flight which made a missed approach?
你曾经指挥过做复飞的飞机吗？
yes I have. about half a year ago, a flight failed to land because of strong windshear then it successfully landed on the second approach.
5. What reasons do you think may cause a missed approach?
你认为什么原因能导致一起复飞？
Well, the reasons could be manifold : poor visibility, being too close to preceding aircraft, strong cross wind, runway incursion , landing gear problem.
6. What help do you think the pilots may need when executing missed approach? 当执行复飞时，你觉得飞行员都需要什么帮助？
Surely, it must be clear instruction of climbing to safe altitude and holding request for other departure flights. Furthermore, it might be some particular need depended on the pilot.
7. Do you think the standard procedures for missed approach can provide convenience both for the pilots and controllers?

Yes, of course. It perfectly reduces the work load of both sides and possibility of making mistakes during conversation.
8. How could a missed approach influence ATC work?

Well, it’s a kind of abnormal situation so it brings more work load to ATC. What’s more, it influences other flights’ departure and arrival.
