Iworkcardthough)BackinVeronica’soffice,shefindsoutthatMcMorrowhasbeenkilled,andsherealizesthatMichaelwasrightwhenhetoldherthatLincolnhadbeensetupMichaelneedsPUGNAc,aninsulinblocker,becauseheisonlypretendingtobediabeticsothathecanspendmoretimeintheinfirmarygettingthingsreadyforhisandLincoln’sescapeHeapproachesablackinmatenamedCNote(RockmondDunbar)aboutsupplyinghimwithsomePUGNAcMichaelthenlooksforaboltonaspecificsetofbleachersoutintheyardHehastheserialnumberforthisspecificbolttattooedonhisforearm,andhefindsit,butbeforehecanscrewitoutofthebleacher,TheodoreBagwell,akaTBag(RobertKnepper),stopshimHeistheleaderoftheAllianceforPurity,awhitesupremacistgang,andhehashissubmissivepartnerMayTag(BrianHamman)withhimTBagsaysthataracewarisaroundthecorner,andheoffershisprotectionMichaelturnshimdown,whichticksTBagoff,forcingMichaeltoleavethebolthalfunscrewedVeronicafindsTimGiles(KeithDiamond),Lincoln’spublicdefender,andaskshimaboutamannamedCrabSimmons(TabBaker),whocouldhaveclearedLincoln’snameCrabisafivetimefelon,soitwouldbeawasteoftimeThenextday,TimvisitsVeronicainherofficeandgivesherasurveillancevideooftheparkinggaragewhereLincolnhadallegedlykilledTerrenceSteadmanItwasmeanttobeaformofclosureforherShewatchesit,andthenshevisitsLincolninjailtoaskhimaboutitHetellsherthatheneverfiredhisgun,andthatsheshoulddosomemoreresearchMichaelgoesbacktofinishunscrewingthebolt,butTBagandMayTagcatchhimagainTBagmakesMichaelhandoverthebolt,whogivesittoMayTagMichaellatergoestoAbruzzitoaskhimaboutshakingdownaninmate,whichhetellshimhewilldo,assoonasMichaeltellshimwheretofindFibonacciMichaelfurtherfrustratesAbruzzibytellinghimthathewilldothatoncetheyescapeBellickdoesasearchofMichaelandSucre’scell(SucreisintheSHUforhavingashankduringapreviousshakedown)andfindstheserialnumbersforthebolt(hedoesn’tknowwhatthosenumbersmeanthoughyet)Thenumbersareaccompaniedbyaname:“AllenSchweitzer”HehasafellowCOlookupthename,buthecomesupwithnothingMichaelsearchesfortheboltinMayTag’sbunk,whenheiscaughtbyTBagandMayTagagain(theyareeverywhere…aren’tthey)HetellsthemthathewantsTBag’sprotection,andthatheneedsthebolttoprotecthimselfCNoteseesthisandgetsmadHelatershowsMichaelthebottleofPUGNAc,buttellshimthathechosethewrongsideoftheracewar,causingMichaeltoleaveemptyhandedVeronicafindsCrab’sresidenceandrunsintoCrab’smother,whotellsherthatCrabisdeadBackinheroffice,VeronicagetsacallfromLeticiaBarris(AdinaPorter),CrabSimmons’exgirlfriendShemeetswithLeticia,whotellsherthatshebelievesthatthesamepeoplewhokilledCrabaretryingtokillLincolnVeronicathoughtthatCrabhadOD’d,butLeticiasaidthatCrabhadabadheartandwouldnevertouchdrugsHeconvenientlydiedaweekafterLincolnhadkilledSteadmanHaleandKellermanhadalreadyquestionedTimabouthisvisittoVeronica,andnowtheyhavewitnessedhermeetingwithLeticiaKellermancallsamysteriouswoman,whoinstructshimto“dowhatyouneedtodotomakethisgoaway”Duringaprisonriot,anotherinmatefatallystabsMayTag,butMichaelisabletogettheboltawayfromhimTBagassumesthatMichaelhaddonethestabbing,andhevowsrevengeMichaelsharpensthepointofthebolttobecomeanAllenwrench,whichistheperfectsizetofitintoaboltunderneathatoilet(welaterseeinthecomingattractionsthatbehindthetoiletisatunnel,whichIassumeistheescaperoute)CNotegivesMichaelbackhisPUGNAc,becauseherealizesthatMichaelwasn’tincahootswiththeAryanNationMichaeltakesthemedicine,andSaralateradministershertestSheconfirmsthathedoeshavediabetes,butsheisalittleconfusedastowhyheissohappyaboutit(Michaelhasahorriblepokerface)Onthewayoutoftheinfirmary,AbruzziandhisthugsgrabMichaelandforcehimtogiveupthelocationofFibonaccibyputtingoneofhispinkietoesintothepathofsomepruningshearsHerefuses,andtheepisodeendswithoneofthethugscuttingoffthepinkietoeThedirectoroftheRushHourmovies,BrettRatner,executiveproducesanddirectedthefirsthourofthisshowPaulScheuring,thewriteroftheVinDieselmovieAManApart,createdthisseriesandwroteitsfirsttwoepisodesTheyhaveconstructedashowthatisalittlebitfarfetched,butinterestingThefactthatMichaelconvenientlygoestothesameprisonasLincoln,andthatSaraisonlymildlyinquisitivetoMichael’sdiabetesproblemisalittlehardtobelieveAlso…whenaretheygoingtoexplainwhyMichaelScofieldandLincolnBurrowshavetwodifferentlastnamesAretheyhalfbrothersTheactingisgreatthoughIt’samazinghowalikeMillerandPurcelllookMaybeit’sthebuzzcuts,butIcouldactuallybelievethattheywererealbrothersStormarealwaysmakesagreatbadguyinmovies,soheisgivingusanothergoodoneonthesmallscreenKnepperplaysaverycreepybadguy,andheisveryeffectiveatittooThetwoloveinterestsaregood,buttheydon’thavealotoftimetoestablishtheirromanceswiththeirrespectivemenyetCalliesisobviouslygoingtofallforMiller,andIseriouslydoubtthatTunneywillbeseeingaweddingintheendwithherfiancé“PrisonBreak”remindsmeofABC’s“Lost,”inwhichIliketheconcept,butIcan’tseeitgoingbeyondaseason“Lost”provedthatitcouldprovideanongoingplotlinethatwilllastitsinauguralseason,soI’llhavetohavefaiththatthisonewilldoitaswellThisshowhadsomanyquestionsyetunansweredinthefirsttwoepisodes,andthedurabilityofitmightbeoneofthosequestionsWelcometothefallseason!
