下面短文中有10处语言错误。请在有错误的地方增加、删除或修改某个单词。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏字符号（∧），并在其下面写上该加的词。
删除：把多余的词用斜线（\）划掉。
修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写上修改后的词。
注意：1.每处错误及修改均仅限一词；
2.只允许修改10处，多者（从第11处起）不计分。
It isn’t hard to grow up into a responsible members of society.
I can well remember an incident that happens on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was on my way to the bookstore and was waiting the green light at a crossing when a girl of about ten was knocked on by a passing car, it drove off quickly. A man immediately rushed to a girl to give her first aid and I joined in without hesitation. Luckily she was not badly injured but we sent her to the nearest hospital. Comparing with the escaped driver, I am proud of what I did.
As a member of society, I am aware of that being responsible is that it takes to make a better society.

members---member考查名词单复数。句意：成长为一名有责任的成员并不难。因为前面有a,故用单数形式。
happens---happened 考查动词的时态。我记得这件事发生在一个下雨的周日下午。事发生在过去，故用一般过去时。
waiting后面加for考查固定搭配。Wait for sth等待某事；
knocked on ---down 考查固定搭配。Knock down sb 撞倒某人；
it—which 考查定语从句连接词。Which指代 a passing car
a –the考查冠词。句意：一个男人立刻冲向那个女生给她急救；the girl上文已经提到过，表示特指；
but---and 考查连词；句意：幸运地是她伤的不重并且我们送她去了最近的医院。两个句子是并列关系；
comparing---compared 考查非谓语动词。句意：与逃跑的司机相比，我对我的所作所为感到很骄傲；
aware of 去掉of考查固定短语。Be aware of sth 意识到某事；be aware that 后面加句子。 that –what考查表语从句。句意: 做为社会的一员，我意识到，责任正是这个社会所需要的。
