1、 do 用来代替动词或动词其他成分
--- Have you finished your work?
--- Yes, I did yesterday.
2、 so 在expect, think, imagine, hope, suppose, believe等后面，代替单词，词组，句子

--- Has she ever been to London?

3、 not 代替否定的句子，用法和so相似。

--- I hope not.
