Abstract:Astochasticeconomicdispatchmodel,whichcantakeintoaccounttheuncertainoutputsofplug-inelectricvehicles(PEVs)andwindgenerators,isdeveloped.Asimulationbasedapproachisfirstemployedtostudytheprobabilitydistributionsofthecharge/dischargebehaviorsofPEVs.TheprobabilitydistributionofthewindpoweroutputisnextderivedbasedontheassumptionthatthewindspeedfollowstheRayleighdistribution.Themathematicalexpectationsofthegenerationcostsofwindgeneratorsandvehicletogrid(V2G)powersourcesarethenderivedanalytically.ThefeasibilityandefficiencyofthedevelopedstochasticeconomicdispatchmodelisdemonstratedwiththeIEEE118-bustestsystem.
