Why Are Plant Important
Today I am at home. I talked about plants with my family. I know why plants are so important for us.
There are many plants around us.And we can’t live without plant.Do you know why?Let me tell you.
Plants help clean the air and it is pleasant to walk among the trees.We can also get the food from plants,such as apples and oranges.Corn,wheat and rich are all plants,too.We can make and build things with trees,like chairs,beds and house！We can sit in the shade under a tree in summer.Plants cover the soil.Plants stop wind and water from carrying the soil away.All plants take energy from the sun and make it into food.People and other animals need food to live.
So we need plants.Plants are very important.
UNIT3
Animals Are Our Friends
Animals are our good friends.They can bring us happiness and make our world interesting.Everyone should love and protect around us as mush as possible.
However,in our modern world,many animals are in great danger.Some may be hunted and others may die from the polluted environment.
How to protect them?Firstly,we should make laws to stop people from hunting animals.If people stop killing animals for meat and fur,there will be more and more animals.Secondly,many animals are living in the forests,so we should protect our forests and plant more trees.Thirdly,be sure not to throw rubbish everywhere and protect our environment.It’s necessary to the wild animals.
In a word,animals and people are living in the same world.We should regard animals as our friends and try our best to protect them.
UNIT4
Advantages and Disadvantages of the Internet
Internet is now coming into our life.It brings us not only a lot of convenience,happiness but also troubles.
Some students use Internet as a tool to study.They look up the meanings of new words,the background of an event or a story,the information of a company or a famous person,etc.They also read news or send e-mails through it.Internet helps them learn more and study well.
Every coin has two sides.Some students play games,chat with friends,and see the pictures or films even the unhealthy ones on the Internet the whole day.They are not interested in their subjects.It’s very dangerous for them！
