The difficult thing in life
What is the most difficult thing in life？
Before talking about this,
I`d like to tell a story happened to me.
You know moms always say : “baby, you are too lazy, baby you are too useless, baby you only eat but can do nothing. even, nobody would marry you. bla bla bla.” My mom is just like this.
Am I that bad?
Of course not.
I decided to let them know how good I am.
I made up my mind to cook a dish for my dear parents.
That is my great fried eggs with tomatoes. You know it`s also a famous and common Chinese dish.
At least it seems easy to cook.
one day in the afternoon,my parents sat in the sitting room waiting for my dish. And I was busy in the kitchen . First, I had to get the eggs ready, that`s easy , a piece of cake, nothing big. I hold an egg, Ko, slightly knock it on the table ,nothing happened, ko harder, oh my god nothing left. Try another one then another one. It took me almost 20 minutes to get the eggs ready.
Then next step is cutting the tomatoe. It `s round and goes everywhere, I tried my best , at last, I didn`t know what shape I cut it
into, what a mess, Truth to tell it looks strange, the most horrible thing is the boiling smoking oil, that`s dangerous. At that time the pot cover is my cover. Finally I finished my dish, and I put it on the dinner table, asked my parents to have a taste. Dady looked at the dish for not sure. He said “wow it looks good, what about the taste? my mouth is watering” He had a spoonful of it ,I can see nothing on his face, I was curious to death. Can you guess the result?
The fact proved that my dish was a failure. How could it be? It is easy, so easy.
From this experence of mine, I truly know that the most difficult thing is “to do.”
We have many good ideas, we have many dreams, and we see many things, we thought we can make everything come true if we want. From this story I know “saying is easy, doing is hard.” And if we want to do something well, we have to try it again and again, until we succeed. By the way I love my mom more than before.
So, from then on , when I think of something, I will start to do it as quickly as I can.
The earlier I start, the sooner my dream will come true.
