ThetimecourseofTRSyieldfrombambooin[C4mim]ClwithCu2+
ionsasco-catalystfor7hwasmonitoredinthisstudy.Regressionanalysisoftheexperimentaldatabynon-linearleastsquarescurvewas?ttedusingsoftwareOrigin7.0,asshowninFig.3,whereR2=0.9913,k1andk2,therateconstantsforTRSfor-mationandTRSdegradation,weredeterminedas0.1844hà1and0.5143hà1,respectively.TRSyieldincreasedremarkablywiththeincreaseofreactiontimeinthebeginning,theyieldofglucosereached67.1%within4h.Thereafter,decreasedTRSyieldwasobtainedwiththeincreasedreactiontime,indicatingthatreducingsugarsweredecomposed.Theresultswasingoodagreementwithpreviousworks(Zhuangetal.,2013),suggestingthatthismodelgavereasonablelevelsofagreementwithexperimentaldataofbio-masshydrolysis.4.Conclusion
ThisstudyhasshowntheeffectofdifferenttypesofmetalionsontheacidcatalyzedhydrolysisofBambooin[C4mim]Cl.ThemosteffectiveionwasCu2+ionandthemaximumreducingsugaryieldof67.1%wasachievedat100°Cafter4-hhydrolysiswithaCu2+ionconcentrationof0.23%(w/w).Thishydrolysismethodrequirednopretreatmentsintheprocessandeffectivelyimprovedtheef?ciencyofhydrolysis.Theco-additionofcopperionanddilutehydrochlorideacidinILscouldbeavaluablemethodtofacilitatecost-ef?cientconversionofbiomassintobiofuelsorbiobasedproducts.
